Why Choose Us?

Personal Service

As a smaller full service firm on the South Shore we depend on our local reputation of excellence to succeed and grow.  While results are always important, so too is the manner they are obtained.  We want your experience with our firm, as well as our service, to be something memorable – something that you will continue rave about.  At the heart of our success are the referrals we receive from past clients and our colleagues.  In this tradition, we place availability and responsiveness at the core of our client-centric firm.

We deliver prompt responses to your questions in the manner you like: email, letter, courier, phone call, text message, secure website…  Call today, we’ll call you back.  Send an email, see a reply.  Need to meet, we’ll make the time. When you contact us, we can often get started on your case immediately. Important decisions can’t wait – we get it and we understand.

Our phones are answered by a real person 24/7 and the contact form on this website is delivered straight to an attorney’s inbox after you hit submit.  In addition, there’s always an attorney on call to handle any unexpected emergencies.

Convenience

We value your time and appreciate you have families, jobs, and many other of life’s commitments.  We believe you shouldn’t need to take time off from work to travel to a lawyer’s office so the attorney can give you advice when it’s convenient for them.  While we certainly offer traditional office visits (and these are important in many cases), our lawyers are also dedicated to making hospital visits, home visits, and other site visits.  Not only is this more convenient for you, but it can allow us to better experience what you are going through and assists in obtaining resources available onsite.

Soon you’ll be able to schedule appointments online and we offer optional secure online access to case documents (but only if you are comfortable with this approach).  This allows you to check on the status of your case at any time and from the any computer regardless of where you are.  With today’s technology combined with hectic schedules we are finding many clients prefer to use email, a secure website, or work with us through instant messaging or over the phone.  We are even beginning to see a steady increase in the number of clients we never meet with in person.  We are committed to continue seeking technological innovations to make your experience with our firm more convenient.

Value

We are fortunate to stay leaner than big firms and maintain our competitive advantage in our areas of practice.  Our approach allows us to develop lasting relationships with our clients and to assess their needs and preferences over time.  These stronger relationships translate into efficient uncompromising personal service that provides our clients with a real value.

In addition to the value our relationships and experience provide, we are constantly looking at innovative ways to work smarter and more efficient.  Efficiency leads to enhanced productivity and helps us pass savings on to you.  Some of the areas we are succeeding with this include using technology in the: automation of routine tasks, consistent document production, web-based interactivity, electronic forms which save time and increases productivity, and client extranets (your own private space online for communications).

How do our innovative practices provide value to you?

It’s simple, whenever we can do something smarter and faster, then we can reduce what we charge for that service.  Here are a few examples.  First, routine documents can be instantaneously generated and reviewed by an attorney for specific issues.  Second, we are able to provide better substantive advice in meetings when we have obtained relevant information in advance.  Third, less time is spent in meetings and time is put to more productive tasks when not tied up on administrative issues.  Fourth, a client extranet allows us to keep clients informed on every element of their case where many questions can be answered instantly (without the need for an appointment or telephone call).  Fifth, many people are finding a digital filing cabinet a convenient way to have everything related to their case in one place.   The immediacy of many of these innovations helps satisfy our clients need for “information now.”  While these options are not right for everyone, they are a few examples of ways we strive to be more efficient while providing better service and delivering greater value to you.

Peace of Mind, Transparency and Honesty

When a crisis or opportunity arises you deserve confidence and security in making decisions that matter the most.  In some cases we prevent trouble from arising.  In others we make it go away.  Finally, there are times when we step in and take care of your troubles for you.  Our goal is to avoid risks while providing a satisfying experience and winning result.

We give your case the individual attention it deserves and we are transparent about what we think.  In short, we tell it as we see it – even when you don’t want us to.  We require you be fully informed about your case and its possibilities.  We find this predictability and honesty helps reduce our clients’ anxieties and worries.

Other questions that we answer are: What is my case worth?  How long will it take?  What are the likely outcomes?  Our reputation is accountable to the answers we provide and the responsibility we demonstrate in every case.  Whether your needs involve recovery for your injuries, financial independence and security, or routine matters, you deserve the peace of mind in knowing we’ve got you covered.
